PSPB INTER UNIT CARROM TOURNAMENT INAUGURATED

The Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) Inter Unit Carrom Tournament, organised by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) was inaugurated by Mr.S.Chandrasekaran, Director (Technical), CPCL at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, this morning (25.10.2010). Mr.V.Srinivasan, General Manager (HR), felicitated. Mr.S.Venkataramana, Director (Operations), CPCL, Mr.R.S.Jadeja, Joint Secretary, PSPB, were present. At the outset, Mr.P.K.Subramaniam, Deputy, General Manager (Administration & Welfare), CPCL, welcomed the gathering. Mr.B.Anbu, Joint Secretary of the Organising Committee, proposed a vote of thanks. About seventy players eight petroleum companies from all over the country including current Men World Champion Yogesh Paradesh (IOC), Current Women World Champion S.Elavazhi (ONGC), National players Ramesh Babu (IOC), Sandeep Deorker (ONGC), Ashok Gaus (ONGC) are participating in this five-day tournament.

The following are the participating teams: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Engineers India Limitd (EIL), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and CPCL.
