Certificates Distributed May / 7 / 2009 As part of CPCL’s Community Development Programme, CPCL sponsored 19 unemployed youth living in and around Manali neighbourhood for a job oriented Skill Development Training in Plastics Processing Machine Operation (PPMO) for 6 months duration at Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Guindy, Chennai. At a function at CIPET on May 6, Mr. K.K.Acharya, Managing Director, CPCL, distributed the certificates to the passed out students. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Acharya, exhorted the youth to make use of this unique opportunity to the fullest extent, since such skilled workforce are in great demand in plastic industries in India and abroad. Mr.V.Srinivasan, General Manager (HR), CPCL, and Mr.G.Aravindan, President, MRL SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association, felicitated. At the outset, Mr. S.Y.Shirali, Associate Professor, CIPET, explained about the course and nature of the training in his special address. Mr. R.T.Nagaralli, Asst. Professor, CIPET welcomed the gathering and Mr.S.K.Muniyandi, Sr. Technical Officer & Course convener proposed a vote of thanks.
