Chennai Petroleum Corporation
Limited's, Cauvery Basin Refinery (CBR) at Panagudi near Nagapatinam,
has won the Best Performance Award for Heater / Boiler efficiency
based on the survey conducted by Centre for Height Technology
(CHT), New Delhi.
Mr S. Rammohan, Chairman
and Managing Director, and Mr. V. R. Raman General Manager,
CBR, received the award on behalf of CPCL from Mr. Santosh Kumar
Gangwar, Hon'ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural
Gas, in the presence of Mr. Ram Naik, Hon'ble Union Minister
for Petroleum Natural Gas, at the valedictory function of the
Oil Conservation Fortnight at New Delhi on January 31. Mr. Shivraj
Singh, Joint Secretary (Refineries), Union Ministry of Petroleum
and Natural Gas, was present.
