Oil and Natural Gas Corporation
Limited (ONGC) has won the Team Championship in the 26 th Petroleum
Sports Control Board (PSPB), Inter Unit Athletic Meet, organised
by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), at the Jawaharlal
Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Oil India Limited (OIL), was the Runners
up of the Meet. At the prize distribution function this evening
(08.12.2005), Mr.K.Suresh, Chairman, Chennai Port Trust, distributed
the trophies. Mr.N.Sankaran, Chief Vigilance Officer, CPCL,
presided. At the outset, Mr.A.Loyola, Deputy General Manager
(Personnel), CPCL, welcomed the gathering. Mr.A.Dharmaraj, Manager
(Personnel), CPCL and Secretary, Organising Committee, proposed
a vote of thanks.
Nearly 133 athletes
from ten petroleum companies from all over the country participated
in this Athletic Meet which was inaugurated on 05.12.2005 by
Mr.V.C.Agrawal, Director (HR), Indian Oil Corporation Limited
(IOCL) and presided over by Mr.R.Sankaran, Managing Director
(i/c), CPCL.
