Under the Community Development
Programme, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has
distributed Scholarships to BC/SC/ST students of the schools
in Manali and its neighbourhood and CPCL’s Polytechnic
and ITI. Mr.A.Kasturi Rangan, Director (Operations), CPCL, distributed
the scholarships to the students at a function held at Manali
on 18.01.2005. Mr.V.Srinivasan, General Manager (HR) and Company
Secretary, presided. Manali Special Panchayat Chairman Mr.Mullai
Gnanasekaran, was present.
Under this scheme, scholarships ranging
from Rs.300/- to 2,100/- totalling Rs.1,31,200 were distributed
to about 164 students.
