About the Company

Indian Additives Limited (IAL) was incorporated in the year 1989, jointly promoted by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) (formerly Madras Refineries Limited) and Chevron Oronite Company LLC (formerly Chevron Chemical Company), with CPCL holding 60% of the equity and Chevron holding the balance 40%. In February 2000, with further allotment of shares to Chevron, IAL became a 50-50 Joint Venture company of CPCL and Chevron.

IAL is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of lubricating oil additives. IAL has its manufacturing facility at Manali, Chennai and sales office at Mumbai. The manufacturing facility was commissioned in the year 1993.

IAL is the recipient of several Safety Awards at the State and National level. IAL holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2015 certification and is permitted to use the Responsible Care logo.
